We are humbled, proud, and to be honest, just plain excited to welcome two new employees to our back office compliance and accounting assistance departments. Their addition to the Aux Team shows how much of a demand there has been for our back office services in 2020. Month over month, our organization continues to grow and serve credit unions in new states and regions. The pandemic has made credit union executives once hesitant to outsourcing finally see their organization’s vulnerabilities by “doing it all themselves.” Everything can change in an instant, and ensuring their organization has back-up, depth, separation of duties and mitigation of key person risk is paramount.
In 2020, we welcomed 8 new compliance assistance clients. Our new Compliance Officer Jason Clarke will be assisting our Aux Compliance Team.
Gaye DeCesare, VP of Compliance at Aux writes, “We are growing! We’re thrilled to announce that Jason Clarke will be joining our team in December. Jason is a seasoned compliance and risk professional committed to the cooperative banking model and credit union movement. In his spare time he plays drums and guitar. He lives in Staunton, Virginia with his wife Sonja and three rescued dogs – Marigold, Magnolia, and Flutter.”
Jason comments, “I’m very excited to become part of the great team at Aux! I start in December and I’m looking forward to providing high quality compliance support to their credit union clients. I am very fortunate to have known most of this team of experts for 15 years. They are thoughtful, experienced, and kind, with a thorough understanding of the credit union movement and the compliance challenges of running a cooperative.
This is gonna be fun!”
In 2020, we welcomed 4 new accounting assistance clients. Our new Controller Carmina Paniagua will be assisting our Aux Accounting Team.
Diane Parham, CFO and Head of Accounting Services at Aux writes, “Carmina Paniagua brings 24 years of banking experience to Aux; 12 of those years in the credit union industry. Her most recent position was as Director of Finance at a $600MM credit union. She brings a wealth of experience as well as a love for digging into the details and researching outages. We’re delighted to have her join the team!”
Let’s give a warm welcome to our new team members!
